Student Alumni Association Starts a Campus Tradition with
T-WOLF Challenge!
The CSU-Pueblo Student Alumni Association held its first-ever
campus activity on October 22 in conjunction with Homecoming
2004. Modeled after the popular television program, the group
called its inaugural event T-WOLF Challenge CSU-Pueblo style,
with 15 student teams of two competing for a pair of mountain
bikes.
Facing fears and testing skills, the teams started with Stunt
#1, traversing the high wire on the campus ropes course. Stunt
#2 attested to the ability of strong minds and intestinal
fortitude as the teams transferred twelve hefty mealworms
fifteen feet by mouth! Stunt #3 held the teams ankle-cuffed and
blindfolded in a box of cooked spaghetti and limburger cheese as
they searched the smelly pasta for the cuff key to set
themselves free. All events were timed with the fastest teams
advancing toward the prize. 2nd and 3rd place team members each
took gift certificates to the campus bookstore for $40 and $20
respectively.
Despite the SAA’s newly chartered status and the numerous
details involved, the event was deemed a success and the group
hopes to make the challenge an annual Homecoming tradition at
CSU-Pueblo. Stay tuned for more information on the SAA, and if
